The under-construction retail center ‘Shops at Nanuet’ will feature Fairway Market as a new anchor retail store according to a recent announcement from Simon Property Group, Inc.

Nanuet Mall is currently being demolished to make room for the new project. Demolition completion is slated for August with new building construction will begin soon after.

The new Fairway Market in Nanuet will cover approximately 66,000 square feet and will consist of the store itself along with a café. Many new jobs will be created with the Fairway Market arrival in Nanuet.

Fairway Market was launched in 1954 as a single store located at Broadway and 74th Street. The privately-held company now has several stores throughout the east coast region and the business magazine Inc has listed it as one of the top 5,000 fastest growing companies. Fairway specializes in unusual and unique products including organic and kosher foods; many of them imported from exotic regions. Most Fairway stores offer more than 100 different types of olive oil and literally hundreds of types of cheese. Each store has a bakery and offers coffee roasting. Consumers can also purchase Fairway items online through their website.

As Shops at Nanuet is built, print companies will be providing signage, brochures, flyers, business card printing, and other printing services for the new businesses moving in. Also, several of the original outlets at the Nanuet Mall have relocated to other locations within the city, once again utilizing printing company services to update materials with new addresses.

Completion of the Shops at Nanuet is projected for some time in 2013.
