Blast from the past hits Tuxedo Park

August 26, 2012 by

Food, games, contests, and family fun are there for the taking for guests of the New York Renaissance Faire being held in Tuxedo Park this year, which got underway on August 4.

Attendees of the Renaissance faire can expect to see a variety of different decorations that will put them in the middle of the old era. Residents of Tuxedo Park and other nearby cities such as Monroe and Nanuet will be able to participate in the festivities.

Rides at the event will include a dragon swing, Bedlam Barrel, the Crow’s Nest, and dream boats. The event will feature a large variety of differently themed weekends, such as a fantasy weekend where guests and volunteers will be dressed up as fairies, dragons, and other mythical creatures. Other themed weekends include the pirate weekend, a barbarian invasion, romance, and many more.
Catalog printing services from statewide printing companies will probably come in handy for attendees and a detailed catalog or brochure could inform guests of different themed weekends, events, contests, prices and more.

The New York Renaissance Faire is scheduled to run until September 23 at Sterling Forest in Tuxedo Park, New York from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, so there is still plenty of time to get involved. Tickets can be purchased online for $20 for adults and $10 for children between the ages of 5 and 12. Tickets at the door can be purchased for $22 for adults and $11 for children between the ages of 5 and 12.
