Toy drive gets in Mt. Kisco motion

For the rest of this week, a toy drive will be hosted by THE GYM of Armonk, which will go to support the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester, whose 36,000 square foot facility is located in Mt. Kisco. THE GYM, in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club, is most likely using flyer printing to let people know about the toy drive and to encourage contributions.

THE GYM is accepting new and unopened toys and would prefer that they be wrapped. According to its general manager, Jamie Nicastri, supporting charities in the community is one of the primary goals of the organization. It is hoped that THE GYM can collect more toys than it has ever done before so that the less fortunate in the area can enjoy the holiday season.

Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club, Brian Skanes, added that he appreciates the partnership with THE GYM in this toy collection effort. Sharing the toys collected is something the organization looks forward to so that the less fortunate in the area can also have a happy and exciting holiday.

The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester was established in 1939 and, in its 75 years of existence, has served more than 100,000 young people in an effort to inspire those who are less fortunate to reach their fullest potential within the community. The facility in Mt. Kisco includes a child care center, two computer labs, a game room, an eight-lane pool, and a Teen Center Facility.
