The Holiday Benefit Concert will soon be performed by The Chappaqua Orchestra later this month at the Mt. Kisco Country Club. The orchestra is celebrating its 60th anniversary season.

Along with the enchanting music, hot hors d’oeuvres, wine ,and cheese will be served. The cost per ticket is $100. Tickets for a raffle at the end of the evening will be sold at the door, and a surprising twist is expected.

Cello Section Leader Julian Langford and Concert Master Uli Speth will perform many selections of the holiday season. Speth most recently performed solo concerts of music by Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, and Hayden, and previously has performed with members of Ying, Pro Arte, Hagen, and Cavaliere quartets. Langford has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, the well-known cellist, and has been a winner of From the Top by National Public Radio.

A string quartet from Horace Greeley High School will also be part of the concert. Lily Restivo, a young singer, will engage in some popular tunes from Broadway.

Serving Northern Westchester since 1958, the Chappaqua Orchestra is an ensemble of professional level artists performing challenging and diverse programs.

The concert will take place beginning at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 8.

Orchestras such as this one might consider using poster printing to make those in the community aware of such concerts and their fundraising efforts.
