The 2019 New York Tennis Expo takes place this year in conjunction with the New York Open.

The organizers, United Sports Publication, advertise the expo as a fun family-friendly event for anyone that enjoys tennis. The one-day event includes guest speakers and seminars led by coaches, athletes and experts in the industry. Attendees can also join tennis clinics, meet professional tennis players and compete on the court with other guests for a variety of prizes.

Activities like face painting and a bounce house will keep younger guests engaged. An age-restricted tennis court for children aged 10 and younger ensures everyone has a chance to play the game. On the agenda is a fashion show with only tennis-related athletic apparel and autograph sessions with a number of athletes, including Ryan Harrison, a Grand Slam doubles champion. Exhibitions with promotional products and much more will be on display. The organizers will continue to release the names of attending professional athletes and other personalities as they receive confirmation of their appearances.

The New York Tennis Expo is February 9 from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on 1255 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale. There is no admission fee, but anyone that plans to attend the event should register at Eventbrite. Attendees can bring the registration ticket to the expo for free parking.
