Cher Lloyd set to light up Destiny USA

Later today, Destiny USA, the Megamall in Syracuse, New York, will be hosting a free concert performance by British pop singer Cher Lloyd. The performance will begin at noon, and select fans will have the opportunity to meet Lloyd and receive a signed CD from her.

Lloyd’s career began on Britain’s singing competition The X Factor. After finishing in fourth place on the show in 2010, she signed with record label Syco Music, which put out her debut album ‘Sticks and Stones’.

The songs ‘With Ur Love’ and ‘Swagger Jagger’ became hit singles from the album, and Lloyd is now working on more music. Her performance at Destiny USA is part of a larger campaign to promote another upcoming album.

Destiny USA, originally known as the Carousel Center, is the largest mall in New York State. It is in fact the sixth largest mall in all of America. Already boasting wonderful distractions such as go-carts, laser tag, ropes courses, and fine dining areas, the mall is expanding its repertoire by hosting a concert for a major pop star, which could open up great entertainment possibilities for them in the future.

Organizers for the event will likely turn to printing companies in the area, including places like Syracuse and Liverpool, for flyers and other promotional materials that can be used for advertising. Lloyd is sure to want a large turnout for her CD promotions, and Destiny USA will want as many people attending as possible to show that it can be considered by other artists as a place to perform.
