A rapid adventure on its way for local singles

Those in the area who enjoy the thrills of white water rafting and want somebody with whom to share the experience could be in luck later this month.

7-In-Heaven Singles will be holding its fifth annual White Water Rafting trip, and those who are interested will meet at Melville, New York – so it is only a short ride away for those living in Hicksville. A luxury bus will then transport the group to Whitewater Challengers’ Lehigh River site in Pennsylvania. Once at the site, the group will be treated to a five-hour long guided tour of the river and its class 1 and 2 rapids.

Gail Adams founded 7-In-Heaven Singles in 2008 to help unite couples in Long Island. The company hosts a variety of speed-dating and mixer events. It also hosts many outdoor activities, like this whitewater rafting trip for people who have an interest in adventurous pursuits.

Attendees will have to meet in Melville at 6:30 am to board the bus. They will then be dropped off again in Melville at around 9:30 pm. Sign-ups before July 15 will be charged $99, and anyone who signs up after that will have to pay $109. The fee covers the bus, breakfast, the river tour, and a gift from 7-In-Heaven Singles.

There is a group limit of 55 people, and promoters for the company may want to turn to flyer printing companies to advertise this trip, thereby making sure that it reaches its maximum capacity
