The Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Chamber Membership Meeting on the 15th.

It’s hard to believe but the Franklin Square’s next meet-up is coming up soon on February 15th. With the event taking place at Prince Umbertos Restaurant at 6:00 pm, it also goes without saying that the scheduling is convenient for business owners and professionals as a whole.

That being said, perhaps the aspect of this meeting that stands out the most is the subject matter: “Exploring Internet Marketing Strategies”. According to the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce website the speaker, Tricia Scarlata, has an extensive professional background.

Taken from the event summary:

“…Tricia Scarlata, president and founder of TCS Consulting Services, which is an independent strategic marketing and consulting firm on Long Island. Mrs. Scarlata has over 15 years of experience in helping a wide variety of businesses with the development and implementation of innovative, sales-driven marketing programs and business initiatives. Prior to creating her own firm, Tricia spent 12 years on Wall Street in sales and marketing capacities, most notably holding vice president positions at both UBS and Oppenheimer Funds. Tricia holds a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Fordham University.” (sic.)

Tricia’s presentation is expected to cover areas like social media as well as overall approaches administrations can take towards advertising online. In light of the importance placed on the Internet today, this is a topic that deserves consideration.

Whether a company is looking at Facebook or the integration of digital business cards, attending this information-filled event is one worth putting in an appearance for.
