Antiques and collectibles show bringing history to the Bay Shore

June 4, 2013 by

At the 10th annual Antiques and Collectibles show, more than 30 vendors will bring jewelry, glassware, tools, and other notable vintage items to display to the public.

The show is just a few minutes away from Central Islip and is an ideal place for local businesses and residents to come together. Local businesses can advertise via banner printing companies, brochure printers, and other printing services to garner more interest from potential customers.

The show offers free admission for children of under 12 years of age and adults pay $3 to get in. Once inside, they can meet Laura Euler, author of ‘Arts and Crafts Embroidery’ and ‘The Glasgow Style’, buy her books, and have them signed in person. They can also make a few purchases from the Friends of the Manor Gardens at its plant sale to support the historic garden restoration program at Sagtikos.

The event offers more than just an opportunity to support the locals. Visitors can, for example, peruse a wide selection of antique jewelry and pick up a few beautiful pieces to remain in the family for years to come.

The tenth annual Antiques and Collectibles show will be on Sunday, June 16. The show opens at 10:00 am and stays open until 4:00 pm, and will take place regardless of rain or shine. Guests should head to Sagtikos Manor, at Montauk Highway and Manor Lane to have fun at the 10th annual Antiques and Collectibles show.
