New York Actors Pro Expo encourages the career

The Actors Pro Expo is due to make a splash in New York.

The show is aimed at actors who want to make a living from the profession. The convention offers three events based on ‘Develop’, ‘Sustain’ and ‘Create’. Participants from Bellerose and other communities within the New York region are expected to attend.

Events are provided throughout the year at various times for the purpose of introducing actors to alternate ways of earning income along with new ideas to develop their careers.

A main focus on putting actors to work is included amongst the events. An expo will take place at the event for industry related businesses and services to have booths. Oftentimes vendors allow printing companies to provide materials needed for their booths. For example, banner printing is a common project as the banners are used within the booth to highlight the company’s name and products. Made of heavy vinyl, the banners can be used for many events.

Founded by a British actress by the name of Felicity Jackson, the company was designed to help struggling performers. Using several contacts within the promotional world, the company hosted events throughout London, Edinburgh and Manchester with the eventual move to New York.

The Actors Pro Expo will take place April 26 at 10:00 am at the Radisson Martinique on Broadway. Visit the website for details.
