Shaggy to bring reggae to New Jersey

February 23, 2014 by

‘Shaggy and Special Guest Small Town Scoundrels’ features a fun-filled musical evening with pop performer Shaggy and his guests, the Small Town Scoundrels, with a presentation of classic reggae rock that plays easily on the ear. Poster printing and banner printing were likely used to promote this concert evening to people in this community and around the surrounding area.

Shaggy exploded onto the scene in 1993 after ‘Pure Pleasure’, his first album, was released. After that his sophomore album entitled ‘Boombastic’ went platinum, he won a Grammy in 1996 as the Best Reggae Album after it topped the Top 40 in the Rhythmic Charts, Billboard 200, and Hot 100. He released another ablum, ‘Hot Shot’ in 2000 that went Diamond around the world, and platinum in the United States six times.

Some of his notable singles include ‘Angel’, ‘It Wasn’t Me’, ‘You Girl’. Since that time, he has gone on to produce additional albums and spent much of his time on tour. The Small Town Scoundrels with complement the show with their own musical styling.

Tickets range in price from $35 per person to $55 per person depending on seats selected. Shaggy and Special Guest Small Town Scoundrels will be performing live on Wednesday, February 26, at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey – a quick drive from Turnersville.
