Robotically-minded youngsters to gear up for workshop course

June 30, 2013 by

On its way in about a week, the Teen’s Summer Robotics Workshop is open to all teens in the area who wish to learn more about building and programming robots.

This is a series of workshops carried out in summer camp style, and they feature a different challenge each week. Poster printing, flyer printing, and brochure printing may have been used to outline the weekly challenges for teenagers in this community and the surrounding regions.

The series runs over the next two months and provides teens with a weekly challenge designed to improve their engineering skills and develop to their full potential. Participants will need to exercise creative thinking and engage their minds on a higher level when it comes to completing the challenge.

Part of this session is designed to focus on mechanical hands-on building and automation using robotic programming. Many of the problem solving challenges in this session will involve mathematical applications. Upon completion of this workshop, there will be a technical presentation with a report on the project supplied by the instructor.

The cost may vary depending on the course selected, and it is important to register in advance. The Teen’s Summer Robotics Workshop will be starting on Monday, July 8 at Storming Robots located at 3322 Route 22, W, Suite 402, in Branchburg, New Jersey, just down the road from Somerville. To learn more, or to register, please visit the Storming Robots website or call 908-595-1010 during regular business hours.
