North Arlington is stocking up to raise funds

December 20, 2012 by

The Xmas for the Shore Fundraiser, which has most likely been promoted using a variety of poster printing and flyer printing services in order to distribute the news to the community, is an attempt to bring the Christmas spirit to families that are in need and were affected by the destruction of Hurricane Sandy.

Families in this area are asked to make a donation to benefit the families suffering from the impact of the storm. In an effort to assist these families, a stocking has been hung and is accessible to all at the North Arlington Police Department. This stocking is located in the ‘Dispatch’ area and families in the community are being asked to drop of ‘gift cards’ for any amount from supermarkets or major department stores in this area.

Gift cards are to be placed in the stocking and will be collected with the other gift cards left in stockings elsewhere in the community on December 22. These cards are sure to provide the families affected by Hurricane Sandy with a much nicer holiday season and are a great way to let them know the community cares.

The fundraising event is by donation, so please give generously. Gift cards can be deposited into the stocking in the dispatch area of the police station anytime up until Saturday, December 22, when they will be collected from the North Arlington Police Department, located at 214 Ridge Road in North Arlington, New Jersey. For more information on this special fundraiser, please visit the North Arlington Police Station website or call the office at 201-991-4400.
