NRBP hosts breakfast tomorrow

With both the Newark Regional Business Partnership Breakfast and the Cloud Computing Open House coming up fast, it’s clear that local professionals will have at least a couple of events to choose from this month.

As a starting point, the Newark Regional Business Partnership will be hosting an “Eye Opener” tomorrow, June 19. Beginning at 8:00 am and going until 10:00 am, the spotlight is going to be on the Liberty Science Center, the Newark Museum, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Offering background on all that these three have meant to the community at large, as well as the role which leadership has played in making things happen, this is a fantastic opportunity to come out and get a full picture of what has gone into making these organizations what they are today.

With the list of speakers for this event listed as Paul Hoffman, President & CEO of the Liberty Science Center, Mary Sue Sweeney Price, the Newark Museum’s Director, Michael Davidson, CEO of the Greater Newark Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and John Schreiber, CEO & President of the New Jersey Performing Arts, it is very clear that the Eye Opener will be full of content.

While most people are already at least somewhat familiar with what digital business cards and a good online platform can do, cloud technology is still something of a mystery for many. Interestingly enough, the National Cloud Technologists Association will be hosting a Cloud Computing Open House on June 28. Starting at 6:30 pm and ending an hour and a half later at 8:00 pm, this is another option to consider.
