America’s got Talent returns to Newark

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark will be hosting “America’s Got Talent”, a popular reality show on network television through February.

Most likely, the Arts Center is using a variety of printing services to let people know they can sign up for free tickets to this special showing.

Judges for the sessions will be Mel B., Howie Mandell, Heidi Klum and Howard Stern, with Nick Cannon as host. The acts that were the top ones in the Season 9 Open Call auditions will be returning for the filming in front of a live audience. The winners from these performance this month will compete in live shows during the summer, and then contend for the top vote from the American public.

Prudential Hall of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center was also host to live broadcast of the show during the summer of 2012. According to Executive Producer of NJPAC, David Rodriguez, everyone had a great time when the show came to Newark two summers ago and NJPAC is honored that FremantleMedia and NBC selected Prudential Hall as the location for this broadcast. The success of the show in Newark has helped to make the Performing Arts Center a major venue in the area for television and has helped to develop partnerships with several stations including PBS, HBO, NBC and others.

The NJPAC will be home to America’s Got Talent from February 20th through to the 22nd.
