Classes planned for new parents near Hohokus

Becoming a new parent can sometimes feel overwhelming, and a Hohokus area event will provide helpful tips and other support to those adjusting to their new responsibilities.

The Englewood Hospital and Medical Center will serve as the location for a series of seminars for both parents to be and new parents alike that will be held throughout the autumn months. The sessions will kick off with one that covers baby care basics, and both parents and grandparents will be welcome. Safety, including car seat use, safe sleep, and a demonstration of infant CPR will be on the agenda for the next class, and the series will draw to a close with a discussion of having a healthy childbirth experience.

Those who attend the events will receive plenty of information in a relaxed atmosphere, and refreshments will be served. As there are only a limited number of spaces available, anyone who is interested in participating is asked to register ahead of time, which will also assist the organizers in planning for the functions. Poster printing can be used to craft diagrams and other instructional materials that can be used during educational events such as this.

The first class has been scheduled for September 13, and it will take place in the Childbirth Education Classroom 4262, and more details about both the training and venue can be found on the Englewood Hospital website.
