Plenty going on for local business community

October looks to be a potentially productive month as Fair Lawn professionals get the option of attending a top-notch networking event, with the opportunity for fundraiser sponsorship being made available as well.

It all kicks off this Thursday, October 11, with the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners hosting a ‘Business Over Breakfast’ event in Paramus. Starting at 8:00 am and wrapping up an hour and a half later at 9:30 am, this meet-up is expected to be attended by individuals from the Passaic and Bergen counties.

Offering both a ‘freestyle’ networking schedule and a chance for attendees to present their ideas, while also discussing the issues that they are currently facing, this is a tremendous opportunity to build up relationships. With the location being based not too far from Fair Lawn at the Whole Foods Market in Paramus, attendance could not be more convenient for professionals. Set at a cost of $10 for members and $15 for guests, the pricing is certainly reasonable as well.

Meanwhile, printing companies have undoubtedly been active providing a number of printing services to local businesses, with the ongoing River Road Street Fair concluding on October 23. Free for all to attend while also giving chamber members substantial bargains, this one is also worth checking out before the end of the month.

With the Northern New Jersey Business Volunteer Council also looking for sponsors for its upcoming ‘Fun and Games’ fundraiser, the chance for businesses to do more self-promoting is also there.
