A seminar on implementing the newest point of sale system for retail stores will be held tomorrow at MacOutfitters in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

This system combines powerful business logic with Apple innovation to give business owners the best and most comprehensive system for retail stores.

The course is led by Mike Atteson, a certified LightSpeed consultant. LightSpeed allows sales associates to conduct transactions on the sales floor, offering a back office browser for simplified customer orders, quotes, purchases and inventory management, making reordering even easier.
The seminar will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 25 at 739 North Easton Road in Doylestown, which is less than an hour from Ewing.

On a similar tack, a speed networking session will be held this Thursday at Beneficial Bank, 1560 Easton Road in Warrington, Pennsylvania.

Speed networking allows users to interact with others one-on-one. Speed networking was inspired by speed dating, and gives professionals the opportunity to meet new professionals and make important contacts in two minutes without the awkward introductions.

Participants should bring marketing materials, brochures and plenty of business cards. Digital business cards are another way to go to stay in touch with new contacts. Participants are given two minutes to introduce themselves and promote their business

Beginning at 5.30pm, new contacts can continue their connections over refreshments after the individual sessions. Admission is free to BCBA members and $20 for non-members. This could be a great opportunity to network without any pressure and create new professional connections.
