East Brunswick entrepreneurs to get back in business

Businesses are only as good as the information they receive, which is why East Brunswick business owners may want to attend one of the many workshops offered this month.

Those that have to deal with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) can learn the best ways to avoid penalties at the workshop on Monday, October 21, at the Marriott Forrestal Village, 100 College Road East in Princeton.

Beginning at 8:00 am, this workshop will advise business owners on how to put together a functioning promotional review committee that abides by all the FDA regulations. The opportunities for advertising are expanding every day and this workshop will ensure that business owners have the latest information regarding that advertising.

Real estate agents also live in a world of constantly changing regulations, and a class on the same day will teach them how creating a business plan will help them manage their time better so they can stay up-to-date on the latest information.

This class will begin at 9:15 am on Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Monmouth County Association of Realtors, 4000 RT-66 in Neptune City.

The session is led by Bill Lublin; a broker who has been in the real estate business since 1971. A continental breakfast will be provided.

The following day presents a chance to learn to deal with customers at a workshop at 8:30 am on at the Princeton Public Library, led by Laaté Olukotun, a designer based in New Jersey. Local printing companies can help any business create the forms and handouts they need to get ahead of the competition.
