Communication is the key to success, so East Brunswick residents may want to attend the NYC: Communication Course on coming up this weekend.

The course will be heavy on exercises, so participants should go away with a clear understanding of communication and why it is important.

Participants will learn how to end arguments quickly and satisfactorily and be heard by their partners. The workshop will be held at Friends in Deed, 594 Broadway in Bayonne and begins at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 22.

Social media has become one of the top ways of communicating with the public, and businesses can learn how to ‘Boost Your Profits with Social Media’ at a workshop at 9:15 am on Friday, September 27, at Monmouth County Association of Realtors, 4000 RT-66, Neptune City. A continental breakfast will be included.

The workshop will be led by Lisa Kanda, a social media trainer and consultant. She has more than 25 years of marketing experience, as well as a history of business coaching and consulting. Kanda currently hosts her own radio show, where she chats with business owners and other entrepreneurs about matters such as increasing profit within a company.

The session focusses heavily on the need to link social media closely with a company’s branding, thus building customer trust and, ultimately, drawing more web-users in to the website and increasing e-retail sales.

Business card printing is an important job tool for all professionals who need to stay in touch with developers and clients.
