The sixth annual murder-mystery is being presented by the Theater League of Clifton (TLC) in just under two weeks.

‘Murd-arrr!!! Pirates of the The Salty Dog’, a murder-mystery to be presented in a dinner theater setting, will be performed over two weekends next month. The TLC dinner theater is an annual event that many people look forward to every year.

This year’s murder-mystery relates a manic tale featuring swashbuckling pirates, stolen treasure and lots of mayhem and mischief. Capt. Bigbeard’s attempt to retire to dry land and live out the rest of his day as an honest man are jeopardized by a French privateer, ‘The Razor’, and a drunken pirate.

The dinner part of the evening will include a three-course meal at Mario’s Restaurant, located at 710 Van Houten Ave. in Clifton. Starting with salad, it is followed by the diner’s choice of chicken, pasta, or sea bass, and then a dessert. Beverage choices included with the dinner are coffee, tea and soda, and also available is a cash bar. Tickets cost $40 and include both the dinner and the theater.

Performance are on March 7, 8, 9 and 14, 15, 16. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 8:00 pm and the Sunday shows at 4:00 pm. Seating is limited, so making reservations well in advance is important, and this can be done at the theater’s website.

This type of event is an excellent example of when ordering banner printing can maximize advertising dollars.
