Citizens honored and hospitals helped through September ball

The 48th annual Project Heartbeat Charity Ball is taking place in West Orange this September. The ball is sponsored by the John I. Crecco Foundation and, over the past 47 years, has raised over $1m for rehabilitation and cardiac care programs hospitals throughout the north of New Jersey.

The evening’s activities will consist of a cocktail reception, a sit-down dinner, dancing, an open bar, and an awards ceremony. This year’s awards include ones for Man and Woman of the Year, and physicians, school principals, and community service workers will be among the people walking home with awards.

Suggested dress is black tie, and the evening will be an excellent networking opportunity for northern New Jersey business and health organizations. No doubt there will be plenty of chances to discuss business over a cocktail or during dinner, so a prearranged business card printing order would be a wise piece of preparation.

The ball will likely attract visitors from all over northern New Jersey, including Bloomfield. Indeed, the Principal of the Year has been named as Christopher Jennings from Bloomfield Senior High School. Local printing companies are probably helping the organizers advertise the upcoming charity event throughout the area by providing marketing products, such as flyers, brochures, and posters.

The Project Heartbeat Charity Ball will take place at Mayfair Farms on September 20 from 7:00 pm to midnight. Tickets are $150 each or $1,400 for a table of 10. For more information about the evening, call 973-857-1925.
