North Conway ready to take to the rails this holiday season

November 24, 2017 by

This year, the Conway Scenic Railroad will be hosting a special set of trips that will give North Conway residents a chance to relax and enjoy the holiday season.

Young and old alike are welcome to hop aboard the Santa Express, which will treat riders to a trip with Santa and his elves. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served, and there will be lots of photo opportunities as well. Special holiday train trips will also be offered in the old-fashioned cars between Christmas and New Year.

The Journey to the North Pole trip will take riders all the way to Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. The kids can visit with him and his elves, while the adults can enjoy the beauty of the winter scenery as he train winds its way through the hills. The ticket prices will vary depending upon which trip is selected. A variety of seating options will be offered to riders, and they can select the one that is best for them. An area printer will be able to provide brochures that let the public know more about community-based activities such as this.

The Conway Scenic Railroad’s website contains information about these three different holiday-themed train runs, including their departure schedules and ticket prices. The railway is located in North Conway at 38 Norcross Circle, which is located very close to the Maine-New Hampshire border.
