North Conway invited to spend a bit of time with Bach this summer

The music composed by Bach has been appreciated for more than 300 years, and during a festival that will be held this summer in North Conway.

The two day long celebration of Bach and his contemporaries will include both orchestral and vocal music, and will involve the talents of over 50 different musical artists, who will be coming in from all over New England. The performers will be led by music director Rob Lehmann, ad will be playing selections form the Baroque period.

The musical festivities will be held in the community’s First Church of Christ Congregational, which offers air conditioning as is accessible to those who have mobility issues. Tickets can be purchased at a variety of outlets throughout the area for $20.00 before the festival, and they will also be available at he door for $25.00 each on the day of the event. This will be the Mostly Bach Festival’s 29th year, and all are welcome. Digital copying can be used by the organizers of a function such as this to produce programs and other materials.
