Taking place in a couple of months, the Tunnel to Towers 5k Run and Walk remembers those who were lost in the 9/11 attacks, as well as first responders and military personnel, while raising funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

The route is 3.1 miles long, and those who wish to participate can choose to run or walk through the duration of the route.

This fundraiser is open to all ages, and each person who would like to be included is asked to register to take part. They will be given a race bib which they must wear while the walk or run. Print shops can provide items such as these. Those who need a wheelchair or other assistive device are welcome, as are strollers, and first responders can wear their turnout gear or military rucksack.

Monetary donations or gifts in kind for this event are welcome. Any business or individual who would like to make a contribution is asked to contact for more information about how they can do so.

This event, which will pay tribute to firefighter Stephen Siller and all those who help to keep the community safe, has been organized for the morning of July 14th. It will be held in Schouler Park in North Conway, and registration can be completed online
