All aboard for fall-themed fun in North Conway

August 30, 2017 by

The Autumn Express will soon be pulling out of the station in North Conway for a special trip in support of local not-for-profit groups.

The train will follow a route that winds through Crawford Notch, giving the passengers an opportunity to take in the bright colors of the autumn leaves and other views. The train will stop at Crawford Station for an hour, giving the riders a chance to get off and enjoy all the local area has to offer.

After that, it will be all aboard for the trip back to North Conway. Brochures and other marketing materials can be prepared to promote an event like this to residents and visitors alike.

There are several ticketing options for this specially planned trip. They start at $54 for coach seating, and both first class and dome car seats are also available. Appetizers and desserts will be served, and each person will have a photo taken as a souvenir of the day. Both box lunches and the train’s snack bar are options for lunch, and passengers are welcome to bring along a picnic. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Mt. Washington Valley Habitat for Humanity and the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Washington Valley.

The Autumn Express will be pulling out from the North Conway station on October 15, and more information and a chance to purchase tickets in advance can be found on its website.
