The inductees for the Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey for 2016 have recently been announced by the New Jersey Ad Club, located in North Arlington. The inductees were honored at a gala awards ceremony in West Orange at the Highlawn Pavilion.

Those who selected for the Advertising Hall of Fame are professionals who have made lasting and significant contributions to the advertising industry in New Jersey. Qualifications for this honor include the degree of their involvement in the marketing communications or advertising community in New Jersey, the extent of their economic contribution and philanthropic endeavors, their achievements at both the national and state levels, and the extent to which they have demonstrated professional integrity and creativity.

In addition, nominees need to have been engaged in marketing, communications, and advertising for at least 20 years, most of that time working in the state.

Chair of the Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey, Sandra Schler, commented that these individuals have made important contributions to the advertising industry in New Jersey and the Hall of Fame is a way that their contributions can be recognized and celebrated. It also is indicative of the pool of talent in New Jersey in the industry.

The Hall of Fame might benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to advertise the achievements of these inductees by means of posters and flyers.
