The Virginia International Tattoo is taking place at the end of this month for four days. It is presented by the Virginia Arts Festival.

The theme for this year is “Above and beyond the call of duty” and it will honor, remember and celebrate Medal of Honor recipients.

There are set to be plenty of different events and activities taking place over the course of the four-day festival. The main event will be the Tattoo, which will take place at Scope Arena. It is set to feature over 1,000 performers over four days, such as drum corps, military bands, bagpipers, and drill teams from around the world. Among those who will be performing this year are the Highland Dance Company of New Zealand, the Virginia Children’s Chorus, and the U.S. Marine Corps Band, Quantico.

There will also be plenty of associated events taking place at various locations in the city. These include the Drumline Battle, the Pipe Band Championship and Highland Heavy Athletics. There will also be a number of beer tents.

Organizers will likely invest in poster printing services from a Norfolk print shop to help advertise this event in the community.

The Virginia International Tattoo will be held from April 26 to 29. Tickets range in price from $20 to $100. Call 757-282-2822 for more information.
