The 2nd annual Starfire Festival is taking place in Norfolk next month, raising funds for the Hope House Foundation.

This free festival offers music, comic books and video games, among other attractions. It is set to be hosted by Norf and there will be three stages featuring a variety of musical performers such as Galaxy Dynamite, Space Bacon, and Lena and the Light. There will be workshops on topics like yoga, a live painting showcase from local artists, and a color war.

Guests can enter an eating contest, try beer pong, or compete in a cornhole tournament. They can also try the Starfire Hoop Troupe contest or show off their best costumes in the cosplay contest. In addition, there will be video game tournaments, a vinyl record swap, and comic book showcases. Several food trucks will be on hand to sell a variety of food and drink.

As a festival with something for all tastes, no doubt many Norfolk residents will want to attend. To help advertise, organizers of days like ths often invest in printing services such as flyers or posters.

The Starfire Festival will be held at O’Connor Brewing Company on April 21 from noon until 11:00 PM. Admission is free of charge, and VIP tickets are available for purchase. For the most recent information, visit the Facebook event page.
