January 9, 2014 by

New Mexico’s ‘Albuquerque Comic Convention’ rolls in this weekend with outstanding guests and artists, a number of vendors, panels, media photo opportunities, and autographs. With its emphasis on printing, the showcase is likely to appeal to those in the area whose jobs include providing poster printing services and graphic design.

At this show, artists create special prints that are only for sale at this convention. This year, guests can expect to see comic artists such as Corey Feldman, David Harrigan, Greg ‘the Hammer’ Valentine, Jonathon Frakes, Ray Park, and Gil Gerard. Another of them, Jason David Frank, will be presenting ‘Dinner with the Power Rangers’ for VIP platinum ticket holders

There is a complete schedule of events posted online. Photo opportunities cost $40 per picture, unless stated otherwise. For comic book lovers or collectors, there will be many vendors available through which collections can be bolstered. There will also be a ‘Hero Parade’, where many personalities of the genre will be present.

General admission ranges from $15 to $30 per person, and the convention will be held from tomorrow, January 10, to Sunday, January 12th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Hotel Albuquerque located at 800 Rio Grande NW, Old Town, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Please note that Corey Feldman will only be available on Friday for autographs, as he will leave early Saturday. The dealer room closes each day at 6:00 pm with after-hour events taking place from 8:00 pm to midnight.
