The Burlington Yoga Conference is taking place over two days in a couple of weeks at the University of Vermont.

The conference will offer yoga classes, workshops, and speakers. This year’s keynote speaker is Lama Migmar Tsetsen who will be talking on the subject of ‘What is Yoga?’ Other speakers include Kreg Weiss, Carina Raisman, and Bram Levinson. Workshops will have topics such as ‘Vinyasa: movement with purpose’, ‘The power of breath’ and ‘Yoga therapeutics for the lower back’.

There will also be a marketplace selling yoga related items such as clothing, books, and accessories. Guest can also get body massages, henna treatments, and sound healing. In addition, there will be a Saturday Social and a silent auction.

More than 300 guests are expected to attend the conference, and many will come from surrounding areas such as Hinesburg. Local print companies are often asked to help advertise similar events by providing products such as posters and flyers. These can then be distributed throughout the area and on campus.

The Burlington Yoga Conference is taking place at the Dudley Davis Center at the University of Vermont from March 8 to 9 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm each day. One-day passes are $99 in advance or $108 at the door, two-day passes are $110 or $189, and single classes cost $21 or $30 each. To learn more about the conference, visit the official website.
