Boomer event bounces back to Burlington

The 19th annual Vermont 50 Plus and Baby Boomers Expo is returning to Burlington this January. The show is a presentation of Vermont Maturity Magazine.

The expo is expected to offer seminars and workshops on many topics which are of interest to those aged 50 and up. There will also be live entertainment from such performers as the Starline Rhythm Boys and the ‘Broadway Review’ by the Lyric Theatre, a DJ and dance party, coffee tasting, several giveaways, and a silent auction to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Vermont Chapter.

In addition, more than 80 exhibitors are also expected to attend the expo. They may include those who offer financial services to seniors, sell products that might help to improve the lives of those over 50, and a variety of commercial merchandise like clothing, books, and household products.

Many of the exhibitors, who will likely come from areas like nearby Hinesburg, will probably choose to invest in some products aimed at bringing more attention to their booths. This may include having banners designed and printed at local printing companies, having the result of more people visiting their booths and improving the chance of sales on the day.

The Vermont 50 Plus and Baby Boomers Expo is taking place at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington on January 25 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Tickets are $4 in advance or $5 at the door. To find out more about the event call 802-872-9000 x18.
