Ski season coming to an end at North Conway

Temperatures are rising in North Conway, New Hampshire. Unfortunately, this means that ski bunnies do not have much longer to make the most of the snow. While snow is currently melting, many believe that it will be possible to ski or snowboard for another week or two.

Several resorts have stated that it is still possible to ski. However, they recommend that all visitors to the mountains should bring sunglasses and sunblock. Businesses in ski resorts often stay open during the spring and summer months to make the most of tourism and the venues year round appeal. Tourists to these areas are catered for with many non-ski related activities. Some of these activities include hiking, fishing, and swimming.

People who are running businesses in ski resorts in North Conway may want to consider advertising the fact that they are still open outside of peak season. Many holidaymakers are unaware that ski hotels and restaurants often stay open during the summer. As they do not have many customers during this time, they often offer promotions or rooms at reduced rates. Managers who promote these low prices may be able to increase occupancy levels at their hotel.

Advertising and marketing need not be expensive. Any business located in the ski resorts could utulize the skills of a local print company’s printing services to create brochures. These brochures can placed in the offices of travel agents, visitor centers, and local tourist attractions. Ideas for features and articles could be simply spring and summertime accommodation, but also facts about the area and the kinds of activities that can be enjoyed in the region. Businesses offering off season deals could include these in their promotional material or by inserting flyer printing into promotional materials.
