State of the State Address gets going tomorrow

With the 2012 State of the State Address and the next segment of the Small Business Institute coming up, members of Nashua’s business community have quite a bit to look forward to this week.

Tomorrow, June 19, the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the “2012 State of the State Address.” During this presentation, local business owners and professionals are going to hear about important subjects such as the state budget, the economy of New Hampshire, and the moves being made within the state to create more jobs, with Governor John Lynch being the speaker. Starting at 7:30 am and continuing until 9:00 am, this is a morning event which professionals will not want to miss.

With registration closing today, however, those who are interested in purchasing tickets cannot afford to waste any time in signing up.

The following day, the next Small Business Institute meet-up is being held. For this Wednesday, June 20 event, the focus will be on Comcast. While most people have at least a passing familiarity with blogs, digital business cards, and websites, it goes without saying that it takes a lot of skill to make a career out of digital marketing. Interestingly enough, Will Davenport of Comcast is an individual who has managed to do exactly that.

Over the course of this presentation, he will be giving advice on how businesses can use the Internet to promote themselves to prospects both locally and in the broader sense. At its core, this is another one entrepreneurs can benefit from attending.
