Nashua looks for the hidden treasures of its homes

November 8, 2013 by

The ‘Treasures in Your Home’ workshop is designed to assist people who are downsizing or cleaning house in finding out which items in their homes could be valuable. The organizer of this event probably used methods like poster printing and digital flyer printing to advertise the workshop to people in the community and its surrounding areas.

This workshop is especially for people who are cleaning house prior to moving and who have to downsize to fit their precious items into their new homes. At the class, Charlie Wibel, a Wolfboro antiques dealer, will be present to go over the items often found in homes by people looking to have a clear-out and who do not realize they may be sitting on a treasured item.

Wibel will be take the time to show some examples and to talk about treasures that people have accidentally tossed out before. Often, objects get thrown away after a divorce or death in the family as well, and the antiques expert will be happy to talk with these guests about what to look for when it comes to treasures.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome. The Treasures in Your Home workshop will be happening on Tuesday, November 19, starting at 7:30 pm at the Nashua Historical Society located at 5 Abbott Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. To find out more about this event, please visit the Nashua Historical Society’s website or call its offices during business hours.
