Cowboy Spirit to ride into Foxboro

A local film maker will premiere a new film shot on location in Boston.

Cowboy Spirit Films, an independent film company that specializes in films in the western tradition, will roll out the red carpet on a feature-length film of the same name, ‘Cowboy Spirit’, on November 29 at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro. The film was produced in the Boston area and tells the tale of Ted Walters, a man helping a young girl fight cancer who draws upon his childhood memories of spending summers with his grandfather, a former cowboy and champion rodeo competitor. To help save the life of a dying child, Ted Walters has to hang on for dear life and ride.

The creation and production of movie posters for smaller film companies to advertise feature films such as this would be good revenue for local print companies. Independent film artists would be good leads for print services.

The opening of Cowboy Spirit will include an opportunity to mingle with the cast of the film. The theatre will open at 5:00 pm with a live performance by cast member Ayla Brown at 6:00 pm. The film, which is open to the public, will begin at 7:00 pm sharp and a question-and-answer time will follow.

The Orpheum Theatre is on School Street, with free and ample parking nearby. Tickets for the November 29 showing are available for purchase in advance online. A trailer of the film is also on the web on the Cowboy Spirit Films website.
