April 3, 2013 by

Local artist, Tatiana Roulin, an internationally known and über-talented painter, is the Featured Artist this month at the Paradise Café located in downtown Dedham, at 565 High Street.

Displayed are 17 artistic pieces depicting stunning and diverse scenes from New England to Italy. Numerous pieces of Roulin’s work have won prizes in prestigious international and national competitions.

Roulin is a representational artist who creates her paintings in the media of oil, pastels, and acrylics. Her approach is best described as a fusion of classic atelier (workshop) instruction— reminiscent of the techniques implemented by the Old European Masters, and her unique style is conveyed through the synchronization of light, color, and design.

Her artistic pieces have appeared in numerous American magazines including The Still Point Arts Quarterly, Direct Art, The New York Arts Magazine, Art is Spectrum, and Art and Beyond Magazine. She is also registered in the European Art catalog printing of ‘Who’s Who in Visual Art’ and also ‘New Faces in Arts and Design’.

Presently, Gina M Woodruff’s Gallery in Long Beach, California and Braintree’s The Gallery at Framers Edge are exhibiting Roulin’s work, which is in a number of private and several commercial collections around the world.

The display is available for viewing through the month of April on Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 am until 8:30 pm, 8:00 am until 10:00 pm on Saturdays, and Sunday’s hours are from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.
