Beverly cares for the caregiver

‘Caring for the Caregiver’ is a community presentation offered by the Hospice of Greater Boston and the North Shore. The program will take place at The Herrick House—an assisted living community—located at 89 Herrick Street in Beverly.

The focus of this program is to explore and define the challenges that confront caregivers in relation to care giving. Techniques for preventing and alleviating caregiver stress and burnout will be examined, as well as how caregivers may better care for themselves. Having a loved one under hospice care at the Herrick House is not a prerequisite to attending this program, as everyone is welcome to come and learn.

This event will take place on Tuesday, May 7. Registration and dinner will commence at 5:30 pm, and the program itself will run from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Pre-registration is advisable as space is limited. Please contact John DeCecca at 978-922-1999, ext. 292, or send an email to him via the Beverly Hospital website to reserve a seat. Admission is free of charge.

As one of the state’s leading medical centers, Beverly Hospital is dedicated to providing the North Boston community with the finest in medical expertise and individualized care. It offers a vast network of physicians, technologically advanced facilities, and emergency care by fusing the latest medical innovations with an extraordinary level of kindness and compassion.

To encourage a good turnout for the event, it would not be surprising if the organizers consulted local print companies and brochure printers for promotional materials.
