Fried heaven descends on Andover

One of the most recent additions to Andover businesses, which made its debut on December 27, is Pizza Connection. Hand-tossed, custom-made, and promptly delivered to homes and businesses throughout Andover and South Lawrence, this new pizza place aims to have the competition scrambling. The owners have installed a deep fryer and grill allowing for an expansive selection of “boutique” pizzas, calzones, hot or cold grinders, French fries, Buffalo wings, and salads.

With a growing population of 31,247, picturesque Andover is home to businesses of all sizes. Over 20 new businesses arrived on the scene in 2012, with more expected to open this coming year. From Italian restaurants to a ballet studio, from bookstores and burger joints to Indian Bistros, these latest additions to Andover created employment opportunities and provided a much-needed boost to the local economy.

As a case in point, the 200+ local business card printing companies surely enjoyed a lucrative year with all the cards, flyers, menus, and advertising posters for the new businesses, with digital business cards an ideal and budget-friendly way to promote a new business and alert the community to its existence.

Thus far, the most popular items at Pizza Connection include a Fried Bologna Sandwich and the Fried Heaven Sandwich. The latter is a delectable fusion of fried chicken fingers, mozzarella cheese sticks, French fries, and the house sauce. Where pizzas are concerned, The Taco and The Big Mack are all the rage. Pizza Connection’s hours are Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm — midnight, Friday and Saturday, from 11:00 am — 1:00 am, and Sunday, 11:00 am — midnight.
