Children’s golf classic swings over to Hartford County

Gluttons for golf can bring out their clubs for a beautiful day in the sun, because the Chip-in for Children Golf Classic is coming to Bloomfield. The 9th annual golf tournament will be held at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Club, a golf club rated highly by GolfWeek.

This year, the event is partnering with the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, which will be the beneficiary of the event. The Center is a worthy cause due to its work and dedication to the physical and emotional health of kids across Connecticut. It has centers in Waterbury and Hartford hospitals, in addition to specialty care centers in a total of 18 locations.

The event has plenty of sponsorship opportunities with which local businesses and companies will no doubt want to be involved with. The Tournament Title sponsor ($5,000) includes various perks like two four-person golf teams, company logos on all marketing materials, and a speaking opportunity at the dinner and awards ceremony. Other opportunities include Eagle Sponsor ($3,500), Birdie Sponsor ($2,500), Hole Contest Sponsor ($500), and Tee/Green Sponsor ($150).

On July 17, the event will start with registration at 11:00 am, a lunch/putting contest will be held at 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm will feature the Shotgun Start, and at 6:00 pm the Dinner/Awards Ceremony will begin.

For local events like these, use of print companies and flyer printing services can often be crucial to reaching out to the local community. Individuals in surrounding towns like Rocky Hill and Bristol will be more willing to get involved in fundraising efforts if they are called to action.
