Norwich Chamber hosts social media webinar series

Professionals who have wondered about how exactly digital business cards, blogs, and online branding opportunities work together are in luck with the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce Business Education and Membership Services Committee hosting its ‘Social Media Marketing for Small Business Webinar Series’ later this month.

The first segment of this series has been entitled “Getting Started with Social Media Marketing” and will be taking place on Tuesday, August 21. As far as online social platforms go, the chamber’s diving straight in by highlighting what is probably the biggest social media site on the Internet right now – Facebook. Organizers will be pulling any few punches during this upcoming webinar as the presentation goes in-depth into the process of setting up a Facebook Business Page and using it to generate leads.

Two days later, on August 23, the next webinar is called ‘LinkedIn…Now I am Linked but What Do I Do?’. Since LinkedIn is a networking site geared primarily towards professionals, there is no shortage of leads to be found on it. This second session looks to provide businesspeople with a blueprint for uncovering prospective clients and expanding their personal and professional networks online.

For the August 28 session, the topic will be ‘The Power of Email Marketing’. With this information, professionals will know how to use emails to build up familiarity with prospects. Finally, things wrap up on August 30 with ‘Brand Awareness’.
