New London class will see kids get crafty

Many people use the holidays as an opportunity to flex their creative muscles, and a class will give kids in New London a chance to craft some ornaments they can keep or give to a friend or family member.

Each child who comes to the make-and-take session at MIchaels in Waterford will go home with two ornaments they will have decorated themselves. Trained helpers will be on hand to assist the kids, and at the end of the workshop, they will all have created an item they can be proud of.

The registration fee for this activity has been set at $10 each, and extra ornaments can also be ordered when the tickets are purchased. Parents are welcome to join in the fun, and they can also opt to buy a ticket so they can get crafty too. The fee covers the cost of all the materials that will be used, and the session is scheduled to run for two hours.

Dana Whatley will be leading this creative class, and it will begin at 10:00 am. A flyer printing company can prepare inserts that can be added to each bag at a store’s checkout to let shoppers know when and where an workshop like this will be taking place.

The Kids Make and Take Chalk it Up 2D ornament making class will be offered on December 2. More details can be found by visiting the listing created for the occasion.
