East Haven area organization seeking event sponsors

An organization that works hard to make sure that everyone in the East Haven area has enough food on their table will be celebrating its 50th year, and has issued an invitation to everyone to help it toast its successes.

FISH of Greater New Haven will be marking 50 years, and it wants to thank its supporters, sponsors and the others who help it to keep its programs and other initiatives going strong. It also wished to express its thanks to agencies it partners with to provide food to those who need it.

The organization is currently planning its Gold FISH gala, and it is seeking sponsorships as well as gifts in mind for its silent auction that it will be including in the plans for the event. All of the monies it raises will be used to help purchase supplies for those in the community who need them, and it will be offering benefits to any companies, individuals, or groups that would like to help.

The organizers of the function noted that they put in a lot of effort to be good stewards of any donations made. Local print shops can work with the planners of an event like this to provide them with the materials they need at a price that can be accommodated by their budget.

The Gold FISH gala will be held in Anthony’s Ocean View on September 25. Anyone who would like to find out more has been asked to visit the organizer’s website.
