Danbury to hold Spring Fling Craft & Gift Expo

March 12, 2014 by

The Danbury Police Activities League will be holding its annual Spring Fling Craft & Gift Expo next month. The event will offer artists and crafters an opportunity to exhibit their wares and interested parties will be able to buy some unique items, just as spring is finally getting underway after an exceptionally long and cold winter.

Crafts exhibited at the show will range from custom-made candles, to quilts and stuffed dolls, to painted clothes, fused glass, and folk art. The public is invited to come discover the wide range of talent exhibited by the vendors, and perhaps find a unique gift to take home for that special someone. Others may be interested in a colorful garden ornament or something to help celebrate Easter, Passover, or Mother’s Day. There will also be a wide range of pet accessories

The Craft and Gift show should prove to be an excellent opportunity for those looking for custom stationery printing as well, with exhibitors showing off their drawing skills in colorful designs. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for parents wishing to have pictures taken with their child.

The Craft and Gift Expo will be held March 29, at the Danbury Police Activities League (PAL Center), 35 Haystown Rd. Danbury, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, regardless of weather since it will be an indoor event. Admission will be free.
