June 9, 2012 by

On Tuesday, June 12, Counting Crows will be performing at Ives Concert Park on University Blvd. in Danbury, Connecticut. The doors open to this performance at 5:00 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.

Counting Crows, a rock band from Berkeley, California, became a sensation in 1994 with their stylish renditions of music by many of the great rock stars including Van Morrison, Mike and the Mechanics, R.E.M., Bob Dylan, Nirvana, and the Band. Singer Adam Duritz, who played as part of the Himalayans – a bay area band, and Dave Bryson came together to form the Counting Crows after meeting in San Francisco back in 1991. This group began as an artistic, acoustic due by playing small gigs in the Berkley and San Francisco area. Then David Immerglck joined the group from time to time and recorded with them on their first album, but never joined the band as a member. In 1993, the band grew and took on additional members including Charlie Gillingham, Matt Malley, and Steve Browman and began to perform locally in the Bay area. They signed with Geffen Records and the rest is history. Today, they are one of the most popular groups around. The Audience will find this group to be exceptional, although because they are so well known, tickets sell fast.

Brochure printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this great concert band to the community. Tickets to this concert are $45 per person. For additional information, please visit lyrics freak website, or call the Ives Concert Park at 203-837-9226.
