Napa area ranch welcomes the public for special Wednesday visits

May 18, 2018 by

Napa’s Connolly Ranch will be welcoming guests during a free event that will give them an introduction to the ranch, its animal residents and the programs it has to offer the community.

All ages are welcome to come out and meet the barnyard’s residents, walk the trails and relax in the shade of the grove. Visitors can turn up on their own or along with their friends and family, and when they do, they will have an opportunity to learn more about the different volunteer and other programming facilitated by the ranch.

A UC Master Gardener will be on hand to meet with the public and answer their horticultural questions, and a special garden activity will be organized for the occasion. There is no charge to attend the afternoon, but a donation to help support the ranch will be greatly appreciated.

The planners of this community event noted that they welcome sponsorships from local businesses, organizations, and individuals. Stationery printers can provide anyone who provides this support with specially designed certificates of appreciation to thank them for their help.

Walk in Wednesdays will be held this summer and fall at Connolly Ranch starting on Wednesday, June 6 and will take place once a month from then on. More details can be found on the host’s Facebook page.
