Murray Hill area festival to offer opportunity to touch a truck

March 20, 2018 by

Several pieces of large equipment will soon be rolling in to the Murray Hill area, and local families are invited to come out and see them up close and personal.

The PS 295 PTA group has planned a special street fair that will see local kids and adults alike given an opportunity to explore vintage and emergency vehicles, construction equipment and other rigs. They will be given a sneak peek into how they work, and there will be lots more going on as well.

The adults in the crowd can browse through some of the crafts that will be on display, and there will be music to keep everyone entertained. Several bouncy houses will be on site, and when anyone is hungry, they can pay a visit to one of the food trucks.

Many of the activities will be offered free of charge, and tickets for the day start at $8 each if they are purchased ahead of time. Unlimited Bouncy house passes will also be available. Print shops can be counted upon to provide everything from printed passes to banners and other decoration that can help make an event like this a big hit with the public.

This family friendly festival will be taking place on May 12 on the section of 18th Street that runs between 6th and 7th Avenues. More information, along with an opportunity to purchase tickets, can be found on the event’s listing.
