Food service business owners and professionals who are interested in honing their ‘pitching skills’ are invited to an event near Murray Hill that has been planned with them in mind.

During ‘Sales Pitch-athon: How to Create a Win Win Presentation’, participants will have an opportunity to take part in an interactive evening where they can practice pitching their product or brand to an audience. They will have a chance to receive feedback, and also to learn more about how to polish their presentation so that it catches the attention of their intended target. Graphic design can be used to create an assortment of materials that can help a person market their services or products when they are seeking investment or other support.

Attendees will learn how to craft their pitch, what they should bring with them when they are promoting their product or service, practicing due diligence to ensure they have all the important points covered, and also how to get appointments that can get their foot in the door. The workshop is being led by Terry Frishman, who has many years of experience in helping food service startups get off the ground.

The seminar will be held on October 17, and will start at 6:00 pm. It will take place at Brooklyn FoodWorks. The cost to participate is $8.24.
