More adults are discovering the benefits of picking up their pencils, markers or crayons and doing some coloring, and an Orland Park program can help them to get the most from this activity.

The Morton Grove Public Library has organized a series of workshops that will give the participants a chance to enjoy an activity that can relive stress, enhance relaxation by taking them back to a simpler time in their lives. The facilitators will provide coloring sheets that are appropriate for a person’s skill level, and there will also be time to socialize with one another in a positive and upbeat environment.

The program is open to anyone who’s at least 18 years of age or older, and all the materials will be provided, including the markers. Everyone is welcome to come out and join in the fun while they channel their inner child. Stationery printers can be called upon to supply copies of the coloring pages and any other printed materials that are needed for an event like this.

The adult coloring program will begin on March 12th at the library, which is located at 6140 Lincoln Avenue in Morton Grove. Anyone who is interested in finding out more or who wishes to register to take part can do so by visiting the library’s website or by calling 847-965-4220.
