Gene replacement fundraiser planned near Morton Grove

March 19, 2018 by

An event will soon be held in the Morton Grove area for a young boy with Juvenile Batten Disease who is in need of a helping hand, and it will raise money to help find a cure for his condition.

The NewGenes, Inc. organization has been set up to fund research into how gene replacement therapy can be used to treat a variety of diseases. The fundraiser has been dubbed ‘NewGenes for Harry’, and everyone will be welcome to join in the fun. Banner printing services for an occasion like this can be provided by a local printer.

This evening event will be held at Firehouse Grill in Evanston, and the organizers noted that, while the cause is a serious one, they want everyone who comes out to have a great time. Both food and drinks will be on offer, and there will also be music supplied by a DJ so the guests can dance the night away. Both raffle and auctions have been planned, and there will be other activities on the agenda as well. The suggested dress is casual, but everyone is asked to add a bit of orange to their attire for the occasion.

NewGenes for Harry has been arranged for May 19, and general admission tickets are being sold for $100.00 each. Anyone who would like to learn more about the event and its organizers has been invited to visit the NewGenes website.
